Larry
Cohen D.V.M., a veterinary physician and surgeon, and long time competition
shooter designed the Flash Target so that there was never a question as
to a legitimate hit on a target.
Dr. Cohen is a life member of the Unites States Practical Shooting Association, California Rifle & Pistol Club, National Rifle Association and a retired member of the Wild Bunch SASS #8. His job with Cowboy Action Shooting was to sponsor and media relations and was responsible for getting Cowboy Action Shooting in the eyes of the sponsors and media. His crowning achievement was to get the Durango Junction High Country Shoot-out on the front page of the Wall Street Journal November of 1991.
He was Executive Director of the Southwest Pistol League from 1984 - 1986 as well as Executive Director of the Steel Challenge.
He has also won End of Trail, 3 times winner of Winter Range (National Championships) as a Duelist and Traditional Shooter. As a cowboy action shooter he has won many championships in a number of different categories
